Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Yam and cassava flours are processed plant products, so the fresh-produce rules mostly fall away. Labels, food registration and checks still apply.
Elubo (yam flour) and cassava flour are dried, milled plant products, so they are treated differently from fresh yam or cassava tubers, and they are not among the Nigerian foods on the GB list of foods under increased checks (sesame, egusi and dried beans, as at July 2026). A commercial importer still needs a registered food business, full UK labels with a UK address and a correct commodity code, and loads can be sampled at the border.
Elubo for amala and cassava flour (and lafun) are staples in every African grocery from Peckham to Salford. Importing them commercially is simpler than importing fresh produce, but simpler is not the same as unregulated. This guide covers what changes when a tuber becomes a flour, and what still applies.
Fresh yams and cassava are plants, and plant health rules aim to stop pests and diseases arriving with them. Dried and milled flour is a processed product. GOV.UK's guidance on bringing food into Great Britain lists processed and packaged plant products among the items that do not need a phytosanitary certificate. That page is written for food carried by travellers, so for a commercial consignment confirm with your customs agent that no plant health measure attaches to your specific commodity code; for fresh tubers, see our guide to yam tubers and plant health rules.
The Harmonized System separates cassava products by how far they are processed. At six digits, fresh or dried cassava root is in 0714.10 and cassava starch is in 1108.14, so flour is classified under its own heading rather than either of those. Look up the exact 10-digit codes for yam flour and cassava flour on the UK Trade Tariff, and if you import regularly, consider an Advance Tariff Ruling. Do not reuse the code a supplier used for garri or starch without checking.
The FSA's list of foodstuffs with GB import restrictions, updated 10 July 2026, names three Nigerian entries: sesame seeds (Salmonella), watermelon seeds including egusi and derived products (aflatoxins), and dried beans (pesticide residues). Plain yam flour and cassava flour are not on it, so they do not need the certificates, lab results and designated border post that listed foods need.
Two cautions. First, the list also catches compound foods containing more than 20% of a listed product where the listing is for aflatoxins, so a mixed flour containing egusi would need checking. Second, dried beans from Nigeria are suspended from entry, so a blend made with bean flour should be checked with your agent before you order it.
The UK National Monitoring Plan sets sampling priorities for imported foods. Its 2026/27 list includes aflatoxins in kuli kuli, suya mix and ogbono, pesticide residues in dried bean flour from Nigeria, and Sudan dyes in fufu flour, mainly from Ghana. Yam and cassava flour are not named, but local authorities can sample any imported food. Buy from suppliers who dry and store properly and can show test results.
Bags sold to shoppers in the UK must carry UK-compliant labels. GOV.UK's food labelling guidance lists the mandatory information:
Minimum text size is 1.2 mm x-height, or 0.9 mm if the largest surface is under 80 cm². A Nigerian brand's bag with a Lagos address only does not meet the UK address rule; a sticker with your UK details and the missing information is the usual fix, applied before sale.
Whether yam or cassava flour pays 0% under the Developing Countries Trading Scheme depends on the 10-digit code, so check it on the DCTS tariff tools before you price. To claim any preference, the flour must be Nigerian origin, which for flour milled in Nigeria from Nigerian-grown yam or cassava is usually the simple case, and the supplier must put an origin declaration on the invoice. Import VAT is a separate question from duty: ask your agent how the code is treated for VAT, because the answer for basic foodstuffs is not always the answer for snacks or mixes.
GOV.UK says you must register a food business with your local council at least 28 days before you start trading. That includes distribution and food supply, even from an office where no food is kept on site, and each site registers with its own council.
Paying a Lagos flour mill in naira while selling in pounds is what a Pryme Business Account is built for: it holds NGN, GBP, USD and EUR, and Swap shows the rate and fee before you approve. Invoicing helps with your own trade customers. Outside Nigeria, services are provided through regulated partners. See also UK food labelling for Nigerian products.
Yes. It is a processed plant product and not on the GB list of Nigerian foods under increased checks, but you need a registered food business, compliant labels and a customs declaration.
GOV.UK lists processed and packaged plant products among items that do not need one when carried by travellers; for commercial loads, confirm against your commodity code with your agent.
Both are processed cassava products, but the commodity code can differ. Check each product's code on the UK Trade Tariff.
Yes. Since 1 January 2024, prepacked food sold in GB must show a UK address, which is the UK importer's if the producer is not in the UK.

Iru is a fermented plant food: food business registration, hygiene, storage and labelling rules apply, and novel food status should be checked.
Fresh kola and bitter kola are plant products and foods: check plant health category, novel food status and labelling before a UK shipment.
