What AI agents can do in bookkeeping, close, collections and compliance today, where a person must stay in charge, and how to judge a product.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Accounts are provided in Nigeria today, subject to verification and approval. Foreign-currency balances are held and converted inside that account, so you can hold, receive and swap dollars, pounds and euros wherever you are.

Formats, where to sell (Selar, your own page, Gumroad, Amazon KDP), how to price, and what payment fees take from each sale, with worked examples.
To sell an ebook in Nigeria, write it as a PDF or EPUB, then sell it on a platform that takes naira payments (Selar is the best-known local one, and paid out ₦9.8 billion to creators in 2024 according to Techpoint Africa), on your own page using a payment gateway, or on foreign stores such as Amazon KDP or Gumroad if their payout terms work for you. Price for your reader's budget, and check each platform's current fee before you set the price.
| Format | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Guides, workbooks, templates, anything with fixed layout | Easy to forward; hard to read on small phones if the layout is A4 | |
| EPUB | Text-heavy books read on e-readers and reading apps | Layout varies by device; tables and images can break |
| Both | Serious books where readers use different devices | More work to produce and check |
Most Nigerian buyers read on phones. If your ebook is a PDF, test it on a small Android screen before you sell it; a single-column layout with large text reads far better than a printed-page design.
Selar is built for selling digital products to Nigerian and African buyers. Techpoint Africa reported in January 2025 that Selar paid out ₦9.8 billion to creators in 2024, up from about ₦4 billion in 2023, with around 241,000 creators. Selar's own pricing page did not show a readable fee when we checked, so confirm the current per-sale charge in your account before you set a price. Selar also runs an Affiliate Network: according to its blog, you can let affiliates sell your ebook for a commission you set, with minimums of 20% for products of ₦50,000 or more and 30% for others, and a minimum product price of ₦3,000. Our guide to selling on Selar goes deeper.
You can sell from a simple website, link-in-bio page or even WhatsApp, taking payment through a gateway and emailing the file. Paystack's Nigerian pricing page lists local payments at 1.5% + ₦100, capped at ₦2,000, with the ₦100 waived on transactions under ₦2,500. Flutterwave's page shows 2% per local transaction. You handle delivery of the file and customer questions yourself.
Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing reaches buyers worldwide, and Gumroad is popular with creators selling to international audiences. Both pay in foreign currency and have their own royalty or fee rules and payout methods, which change from time to time. We have not quoted them because we could not confirm current terms for Nigerian sellers; read each platform's own help pages on royalties, tax forms and payouts before you publish. See our guide to Amazon KDP from Nigeria.
Okadabooks was a well-known Nigerian ebook store. We could not confirm its current status from a page we opened, so check before you rely on it.
Example only, using the Paystack pricing quoted above (check the current page before you rely on it).
| Ebook price | Gateway fee | You receive | With a 30% affiliate sale |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₦2,000 | 1.5% = ₦30 (₦100 waived under ₦2,500) | ₦1,970 | Not applicable on Paystack alone |
| ₦5,000 | 1.5% + ₦100 = ₦175 | ₦4,825 | |
| ₦10,000 on Selar via an affiliate | Check Selar fee | Price less 30% (₦3,000) less Selar fee | ₦7,000 before Selar fee |
The fee on a ₦5,000 sale is 3.5% of the price (₦175 ÷ ₦5,000), because the fixed ₦100 is large relative to a small sale. That is one reason very cheap ebooks earn less than the price suggests.
Platforms rarely bring buyers on their own. The first sales almost always come from people who already know you: your WhatsApp contacts, a class group, colleagues, or followers who have watched you post about the topic. Share a free chapter or a one-page summary, collect questions, and answer them in public. A few honest reviews from early buyers are worth more than any paid promotion at this stage. Once sales are steady, affiliates can help you reach people you do not know.
Ebook income is taxable income. Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, the first ₦800,000 of taxable income a year is taxed at 0%, as BusinessDay explained in January 2026. Keep platform statements and payout records; see tax on side hustle income.
If you sell from your own page, a Pryme Business Account offers bank-transfer checkout free of charge. If foreign stores pay you in dollars, a Pryme account can hold USD alongside NGN (see multicurrency).
Prepare a PDF or EPUB, then sell on Selar, on your own page with a payment gateway, or on foreign stores such as Amazon KDP or Gumroad if their payout terms suit you.
Price for your reader's budget and the problem you solve, check comparable ebooks, and work out what you keep after fees and any affiliate commission.
Selar charges a fee per sale; its pricing page did not show a readable figure when we checked, so confirm the current charge in your Selar account.
Many do, but royalty, tax-form and payout rules are set by Amazon and change. Read KDP's own help pages for current terms for Nigerian authors.
