What AI agents can do in bookkeeping, close, collections and compliance today, where a person must stay in charge, and how to judge a product.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

On a temporary visa and want to buy before PR? The ban on established homes to June 2029, what you can still buy, 2026-27 FIRB fees and lender checks.
As a temporary resident you can still apply for approval to buy a new dwelling or vacant land, but you cannot buy an established home, even to live in, while the ban runs from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2029, unless a limited exception applies. The application fee for 2026-27 starts at $4,600 for new dwellings or land under $75,000 and is $15,600 in the band up to $1 million.
Many Nigerians on skilled, graduate or partner visas would rather pay a mortgage than rent while they wait for permanent residence. Australia allows that in some cases, but foreign investment rules decide what you can buy and at what cost, and lenders add their own conditions. This guide sets out the rules as the ATO, which administers residential foreign investment, publishes them for 2026-27. It is information, not advice; confirm your own position before you sign anything.
The rules apply to foreign persons, and the ATO's pages expressly cover temporary residents buying a home to live in. Whether you count as a foreign person depends on your status and where you live; the ATO publishes its own test for working it out. Use it if your situation is not simple: for example, if your permanent residence is about to be granted, or you are buying with a partner who is a citizen.
| Property type | Position for temporary residents (ATO, updated 13 May 2026) |
|---|---|
| Established dwelling (an existing house or unit) | Banned from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2029, including buying one as your principal place of residence; limited exceptions apply. The ban was previously due to end on 31 March 2027. |
| New or near-new dwelling | You can apply for approval |
| Vacant land | You can apply for approval |
For most temporary residents, then, the practical choice before June 2029 is a newly built home, an off-the-plan apartment, or land to build on. The ATO does not list the exceptions to the ban on the page we checked; if you think one applies to you, read the ATO's application pages or get advice before committing.
Fees are set by the value of the property and indexed every 1 July. The ATO's schedule for 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 includes:
| Property value | New or near-new dwelling, or vacant land | Established dwelling (where an exception applies) |
|---|---|---|
| Less than $75,000 | $4,600 | $13,800 |
| $1 million or less | $15,600 | $46,800 |
| $2 million or less | $31,300 | $93,900 |
| $5 million or less | $125,200 | $375,600 |
Higher bands are on the ATO page. If you buy as tenants in common, each buyer pays a share of the fee in line with their ownership percentage. A simple variation to an approval costs $4,600 and a complex one $31,300, capped at the amount originally paid if that was lower.
Foreign owners must lodge an annual vacancy fee return. A vacancy fee applies if the property is vacant for 183 days or more in a vacancy year, or if the return is lodged late. For vacancy years starting on or after 9 April 2024 the fee is double the foreign investment application fee. If you are posted interstate or return to Nigeria for a long stretch and leave the home empty, this can be expensive.
Example only. Ada is on a temporary skilled visa and agrees to buy a new two-bedroom apartment for $800,000. Under the 2026-27 schedule her application fee is $15,600, because the price falls in the band up to $1 million. If she later took a long contract in Lagos and the apartment sat empty for more than 183 days in a vacancy year, the vacancy fee would be double the application fee: $31,200. State stamp duty and any other state charges, legal costs and lender fees are on top and are not covered here.
Approval to buy is one question; a loan is another. Lenders set their own policies for temporary residents, and these vary widely. Expect questions on:
Ask a lender or broker whether they lend on your visa before applying, and whether they need FIRB approval in place before a formal approval. Many buyers make the purchase contract subject to FIRB approval and finance.
If you are also weighing property back home, compare with our guides to buying off-plan in Abuja from Australia and checks before buying land in Lagos.
If part of your deposit is naira savings, a multicurrency account lets you hold it and convert with Swap when you choose, with the rate and the fee shown before you approve, and the transaction record kept for your lender.
Not while the ban runs. The ATO says foreign persons, including temporary residents buying a home to live in, are banned from buying established dwellings from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2029, unless a limited exception applies.
Under the ATO schedule for 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, a new or near-new dwelling in the band up to $1 million attracts a $15,600 application fee. Fees are indexed every 1 July.
Your status changes the answer, so check it rather than assume. The ATO publishes a test for working out whether you are a foreign person; apply it on the date you plan to sign the contract.
An annual fee for foreign owners whose property is vacant 183 days or more in a vacancy year, or who lodge the return late. For vacancy years from 9 April 2024 it is double the application fee.
