Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

The $30,000 small supplier test, how calendar quarters are counted, why sales to Nigerian clients count, and when voluntary GST/HST registration helps.
A Canadian business must register for GST/HST once its worldwide taxable supplies, including those of associates, pass $30,000 in a single calendar quarter or over four consecutive quarters (CRA, June 2026). Zero-rated sales, such as many services exported to clients in Nigeria, count towards that total. Below the threshold you are a small supplier and may still register voluntarily, which lets you claim input tax credits but means charging GST/HST to Canadian customers.
The CRA's page on when to register (modified June 2026) sets the test at $30,000 of revenue from worldwide taxable supplies, before expenses. It includes the revenue of associated businesses and excludes financial services, sales of capital property and goodwill. The test runs on calendar quarters, the three-month periods starting in January, April, July and October, looked at singly and over four consecutive quarters.
Two details catch out diaspora founders. First, the figure is worldwide, so revenue from Nigerian, UK or US clients counts. Second, zero-rated supplies count too: Revenu Québec's small supplier page (updated November 2024) states that taxable supplies for the test include zero-rated ones. Many services sold to non-residents are zero-rated, which means a consultant billing mainly Lagos clients can pass the threshold while charging almost no GST/HST. See whether you charge GST/HST to a client in Nigeria.
| How you cross $30,000 | When you stop being a small supplier | Effective date of registration |
|---|---|---|
| In a single calendar quarter | On the supply that takes you over | No later than the date of that supply; charge GST/HST on it |
| Over four consecutive quarters (but not in one quarter) | At the end of the month after the quarter in which you crossed | No later than your first supply after that point |
The CRA's examples show registration generally due within 29 days of the effective date. If you register late, you may owe GST/HST on sales you made after the effective date even though you did not charge it, which comes out of your own margin.
Example only. A Winnipeg data consultancy started in January. Its worldwide taxable sales, including zero-rated work for a Lagos bank, were:
| Quarter | Sales | Running four-quarter total |
|---|---|---|
| Jan–Mar | $6,000 | $6,000 |
| Apr–Jun | $9,000 | $15,000 |
| Jul–Sep | $11,000 | $26,000 |
| Oct–Dec | $7,500 | $33,500 |
No single quarter reached $30,000, but the four-quarter total crossed it during October to December (26,000 + 7,500 = 33,500). Under the four-quarter rule, the consultancy stops being a small supplier at the end of January, and its effective date of registration is no later than its first supply after that. Had it billed $31,000 in one quarter, it would have become a registrant on the very sale that crossed the line.
Small suppliers making taxable supplies in Canada may register voluntarily. The CRA says the effective date is usually the day you request the account, or up to 30 days before. Reasons people do it early:
The cost is that you must charge GST/HST on taxable sales to Canadian customers and file returns. For a business selling mainly to Canadian consumers, who cannot claim the tax back, that can make prices less competitive.
The simplest control is a quarterly total, kept in a spreadsheet or your accounting software, of all taxable sales worldwide in CAD, with a column for the last four quarters added together. Include associated businesses if you own more than one company. Review it on the first working day of each quarter and when a large contract is signed, because a single invoice can push one quarter over the line on its own.
GST/HST is the RT program account on your business number. The CRA's Business Registration Online, which needs a CRA account, is the fastest route; form RC1 by mail is the alternative (CRA, October 2026). If you already have a business number for your company, you add the RT account to it. The steps are in getting a CRA business number for a new company. This article is information, not tax advice.
Tracking the threshold is easier when revenue from each currency lands in one place. A Pryme Business Account receives NGN, USD, GBP and EUR with local details, and invoicing lets you show your GST/HST number once you have one. The Finance agent can prepare a quarterly sales summary for you to check against the $30,000 line; a person reviews it before anything is filed.
$30,000 of worldwide taxable supplies, including associates, in a single calendar quarter or over four consecutive quarters (CRA page modified June 2026).
Yes. The test is worldwide and includes zero-rated supplies, so exported services count even if you charge no GST/HST on them.
The CRA's examples show registration generally within 29 days of the effective date, and the effective date depends on whether you crossed in one quarter or over four.
It can help if you buy a lot of taxable inputs or mainly make zero-rated sales, because you can claim ITCs. The trade-off is charging GST/HST to Canadian customers and filing returns.
