Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

GL8 pay under the CONPSS table in force from 29 July 2024: all 15 steps, monthly figures, and what pension, NHF and PAYE leave you with.
Under the revised CONPSS table the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC) issued on 23 September 2024, effective 29 July 2024, Grade Level 8 runs from ₦1,479,276 a year at step 1 to ₦1,947,994 at step 15. That is about ₦123,273 to ₦162,333 a month before deductions. After pension, NHF and PAYE, a step 1 officer in our worked example keeps roughly ₦103,000 a month.
Grade Level 8 is where many graduate officers in the federal civil service sit after entry or an early promotion, so it is one of the most searched pay points in Nigeria. The numbers below come from the Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS) table attached to NSIWC circular SWC.04/T/140, dated 23 September 2024. The circular says the President approved the revision following the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024, with effect from 29 July 2024. We read the table directly from the scanned circular on the NSIWC website.
The table is published per annum. GL8 has 15 steps. Some websites list only 14 steps for GL8; the NSIWC table we checked shows 15, ending at ₦1,947,994. Each step adds about ₦33,480 a year.
| Step | Annual (as published) | Monthly (annual ÷ 12) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | ₦1,479,276 | ₦123,273.00 |
| 2 | ₦1,512,756 | ₦126,063.00 |
| 3 | ₦1,546,235 | ₦128,852.92 |
| 4 | ₦1,579,715 | ₦131,642.92 |
| 5 | ₦1,613,195 | ₦134,432.92 |
| 6 | ₦1,646,675 | ₦137,222.92 |
| 7 | ₦1,680,155 | ₦140,012.92 |
| 8 | ₦1,713,635 | ₦142,802.92 |
| 9 | ₦1,747,115 | ₦145,592.92 |
| 10 | ₦1,780,595 | ₦148,382.92 |
| 11 | ₦1,814,075 | ₦151,172.92 |
| 12 | ₦1,847,555 | ₦153,962.92 |
| 13 | ₦1,881,034 | ₦156,752.83 |
| 14 | ₦1,914,514 | ₦159,542.83 |
| 15 | ₦1,947,994 | ₦162,332.83 |
The circular gives one annual figure per step and does not break it into basic, housing and transport. It also does not list any allowance. Allowances that some officers receive, such as hazard allowance for certain health cadres or duty-related allowances, come from separate circulars and apply only to the cadres they name. If your payslip shows lines beyond the consolidated salary, ask your MDA's salary unit which circular each line rests on.
The table applies to the federal public service on CONPSS. Officers on other federal structures (health, research, tertiary institutions) have their own tables, and NSIWC publishes a conversion table showing that GL8 sits level with CONHESS 07, CONTISS 07, CONRAISS 07 and CONTEDISS 07, and with the first point of CONUASS and CONPCASS. Equivalent level does not mean equal pay; check the table for your own structure. State civil servants are paid on state scales, which can differ.
Three statutory deductions usually apply to a federal officer: pension under the Contributory Pension Scheme, the National Housing Fund, and PAYE income tax. The Pension Reform Act 2014 sets the employee's share at a minimum of 8% of monthly emoluments, according to KPMG's summary of the Act. After the 2022 amendment described by Templars, NHF contribution of 2.5% of monthly income is compulsory for public-sector employees earning the national minimum wage or more. PAYE follows the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 bands, which BusinessDay set out in January 2026: the first ₦800,000 of taxable income at 0%, the next ₦2.2 million at 15%, and higher bands above that.
Example only. We assume pension is taken on the full consolidated figure, NHF is not treated as tax-deductible, and no rent relief is claimed. Your payroll may use a different pension base.
| Item (GL8 step 1) | Per year | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Gross (CONPSS) | ₦1,479,276.00 | ₦123,273.00 |
| Pension, 8% | ₦118,342.08 | ₦9,861.84 |
| NHF, 2.5% | ₦36,981.90 | ₦3,081.83 |
| Taxable income (gross less pension) | ₦1,360,933.92 | |
| PAYE: 15% of ₦560,933.92 above ₦800,000 | ₦84,140.09 | ₦7,011.67 |
| Take-home | ₦1,239,811.93 | ₦103,317.66 |
The same steps applied to GL8 step 15 (₦1,947,994 a year) give higher tax because more of the income falls above the ₦800,000 zero band. If you pay rent, the Act's rent relief (20% of annual rent, capped at ₦500,000, per BusinessDay) lowers taxable income further; you claim it through your employer or tax authority. Health insurance contributions under NHIA, cooperative dues and loan repayments, where they apply, come off after this.
Steps are the annual increments within a grade level; grade levels change on promotion. The structure has no GL11 at all, so after GL10 the next level is GL12. Promotion rules, minimum years on a level and examinations are set through the federal civil service's own rules and circulars, not the salary table. Our guides to Grade Level 10 pay and Grade Level 12 pay show what the next rungs are worth.
On a GL8 salary, a fixed monthly transfer into a Naira Savings Box on payday is often the simplest way to put something aside before the month gets going; rates are shown in the app. Our guide to budgeting on a Nigerian salary covers the rest of the plan.
Under the CONPSS table effective 29 July 2024, GL8 is ₦1,479,276 a year at step 1, about ₦123,273 a month before deductions, rising to ₦1,947,994 a year (about ₦162,333 a month) at step 15.
The NSIWC table attached to circular SWC.04/T/140 shows 15 steps for GL8. Some websites show 14; rely on the official table.
Usually pension (at least 8% of emoluments), NHF (2.5% for public-sector workers earning the minimum wage or more) and PAYE under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 bands. Our worked example leaves about ₦103,000 a month at step 1.
The CONPSS circular gives a single consolidated annual figure per step and does not split it into components or list allowances. Ask your salary unit how your payslip lines map to the table.
