What is Pryme?

Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.

Can I hold dollars, pounds and euros in a Pryme account?

Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.

What is Spaces?

Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.

What do the agents on a Pryme Business Account do?

Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.

How does Pryme Pay work?

Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.

What are Savings Boxes?

Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.

Who holds my money, and is it protected?

Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Can I build on Pryme?

Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What is Pryme?

How do I send money to Nigeria with Pryme?

Swap at a rate you set rather than the rate of the day, then send to any Pryme username or to a Nigerian bank account. There is no fee to send to another Pryme account.

How to share Glo data with another number

The codes, SMS and app routes Glo gives for sharing your data plan with up to five numbers or gifting a bundle, and who pays for what.

The short answer

Glo lets you add up to 5 Glo numbers to your data plan through *312#, by SMS ("share" followed by the number, sent to 312), on *301#, in the Glo Café app or at hsi.glo.com. Sharing gives others use of your plan's data; gifting buys a separate bundle for them, paid from your balance.

"Sharing" Glo data can mean two different things, and the difference decides who pays and whose data runs down. This guide uses Glo's own share data page and data FAQ as checked in October 2026.

Glo's pages do not state a fee for adding or removing a sharer. If one is charged on the day, the *312# menu or the Glo Café app should show it before you confirm.

How to share your plan

By USSD

  1. Dial *312# from the Glo line that owns the plan and choose the share option.
  2. Enter the Glo number you want to add.
  3. Confirm. Glo's FAQ also mentions "321#" for adding a share number; 321 is the NCC's harmonised code for sharing airtime and data.

Glo's share data page gives *301# to add, remove and list the people sharing your subscription.

By SMS

Send share, a space, then the Glo number, to 312. For example: share 0805XXXXXXX.

In the app or on the web

Open the Glo Café app, or visit hsi.glo.com on your Glo SIM, and use the sharing feature.

What about *127*01*number#?

Some guides give *127*01*number# for sharing Glo data. Glo's share data page and FAQ, checked in October 2026, do not mention it. Use the routes Glo publishes.

How to gift a bundle

Dial *312#, choose to buy for or gift to another number, enter the Glo number and pick the bundle; or use the Glo Café app. Glo's FAQ says Mega, night and most regular bundles can be gifted. Glo's data roaming bundles cannot. A gifted bundle is paid from your airtime, so check your balance with *310# first.

Rules that affect sharing

  • Up to 5 people can share one plan, per Glo's pages.
  • Glo's FAQ says night bundles are shareable and that both main and night volume are shared.
  • Mega bundles and Oga SIM bundles are shareable, Glo says.
  • Everyone draws from the same balance, so one heavy user can exhaust it for all.
  • Remove a sharer with *301# or in the app when you no longer want them on the plan.
  • Only the plan owner can add or remove sharers, so a sharer who wants to leave should ask the owner, or the owner can check the list on *301# at any time.

Worked example: share or gift?

Example only: you hold a monthly plan with 10GB and use about 6GB. Your sibling needs about 2GB. Sharing lets them use part of your spare 4GB at no extra cost, but if they use more than 4GB you run out early. Gifting a 2GB bundle costs you its price, and your 10GB stays yours. If your usage is steady and the spare is real, sharing is cheaper; if you are unsure, gifting is safer. For airtime rather than data, see Glo airtime transfer.

Sharing with a router or a family

Glo's FAQ says its bundles work on modems, routers and mobile routers. A common set-up is to hold a large plan on a router SIM and share it with family phones, or the other way round. Sharing works between Glo numbers, so each device needs its own Glo SIM. If several phones simply connect to the router's Wi-Fi, they use the router's plan directly and no sharing is needed.

Keeping control

  • Tell people they are on a shared plan, so they know heavy streaming affects everyone.
  • Check the balance on *323# every few days in the first month to see how quickly it falls.
  • Renew in the same category before expiry, or within Glo's grace period, so the unused main data rolls over for everyone.
  • If one sharer needs much more than others, gifting them their own bundle may be fairer than sharing.
