Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Why US dental bills surprise newcomers, how insurance and Medicaid treat teeth, and how sliding-fee health centres price care by income.
US dental care is priced separately from medical care, and many health plans do not include adult dental cover, so new immigrants often pay out of pocket at first. The lowest-cost routes are federally funded health centres, which must discount fees by income and family size (a full discount or nominal charge at or below 100% of the federal poverty guidelines, under HRSA's rules reviewed November 2025), dental school clinics and a dental plan bought on purpose rather than by default.
Many Nigerians arrive in the US expecting a dental check-up to cost about what a clinic visit costs at home. It rarely does. Dental care in the US sits in its own market, with its own insurance, its own price lists and very little price display at the door. This guide explains how costs are set, what cover is available to newcomers, and where people on modest incomes actually get treated.
Three things drive the size of a US dental bill. First, dental cover is usually sold separately from health insurance, so a new job's medical plan may not touch your teeth. Second, practices set their own fees, and the price for the same procedure can differ a great deal between two offices in the same town. Third, treatment is often split into stages: an exam and X-rays, then a cleaning, then fillings or other work, each billed on its own line.
The result is that a first visit can produce a treatment plan with several items on it. You are allowed to ask for that plan in writing, with the price of each item, before agreeing to anything. You can also ask which items are urgent and which can wait.
If your employer offers dental insurance, it is usually a separate enrolment choice with its own premium. Read three things in the plan summary: the yearly maximum the plan will pay, any waiting period before major work is covered, and the share it pays for preventive, basic and major care. Preventive care such as cleanings is often covered at a higher share than crowns or root canals.
Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are run by each state. HealthCare.gov explains that many lawfully present immigrants face a five-year wait after gaining qualified status before they can enrol, although refugees and asylees who become permanent residents do not wait, and states may remove the wait for children and pregnant people who are lawfully residing. What dental care each state programme includes for children and for adults is set by the state, so check your state Medicaid or CHIP page. Our guide to Medicaid for Nigerian green card holders covers the eligibility rules, and how benefits can affect a green card application covers the immigration side.
Plans bought through HealthCare.gov or a state marketplace may offer dental cover as part of a plan or as a stand-alone dental plan. HealthCare.gov notes that, from 1 January 2027, Marketplace savings will be limited to certain groups, including permanent residents, so check whether any help with premiums still applies to you before you budget.
The figures below are an example only, to show the arithmetic. Each centre sets its own fees and discount bands.
| Item | Centre's full fee (example) | Your band: 60% discount (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Exam and X-rays | $150 | $60 |
| Cleaning | $120 | $48 |
| Two fillings | $300 | $120 |
| Total | $570 | $228 |
In this example, a household that qualifies for a 60% discount pays $228 instead of $570, a saving of $342. A household above 200% of the poverty guidelines would pay the full fee, which is why it is worth knowing where your income sits before choosing between a health centre and a private office.
Some families find it cheaper to have major work done during a trip home, or pay for a parent's treatment in Nigeria. If you pay a care provider directly for someone else's treatment, the IRS instructions for Form 709 say the medical exclusion applies when the payment goes to the care provider, so it does not count against your annual gift exclusion; the instructions do not say how foreign providers are treated, so keep the invoice and check with a tax preparer. The IRS gift tax FAQ lists the annual exclusion as $19,000 per recipient for 2026.
If you pay a dentist in Nigeria for a parent or for yourself on a visit home, a Pryme account holds dollars and naira side by side, Swap shows the rate and the fee before you approve a conversion, and verifiable receipts help you keep a clean record of what you paid.
Yes. You pay the office's fee directly. Federally funded health centres must discount fees by income and family size, and dental school clinics often charge less than private offices.
Medicaid and CHIP rules are set by each state, and many lawfully present immigrants face a five-year wait after gaining qualified status. What dental care is included is set by each state, so check your state programme.
It is a clinic that lowers its fees according to your income and household size. HRSA-funded centres must give a full discount or nominal charge at or below 100% of the federal poverty guidelines and graduated discounts up to 200%.
It can be for some treatments, but compare the full cost, including travel and follow-up visits, and keep receipts. Prices vary by clinic in both countries.
