Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

CRMS is the CBN's own register of loans reported by banks. What it holds, who can see it, and how it differs from the credit bureau report you can order.
The Credit Risk Management System (CRMS) is a database run by the Central Bank of Nigeria in which banks and other CBN-regulated lenders report the credit facilities they grant, so the CBN can supervise lending and lenders can see a borrower's existing exposure in the banking system. It is a supervisory tool, not a public list, and it is separate from the private credit bureaus that sell credit reports and scores.
People hear "CRMS" when a bank declines a loan or a relationship officer mentions that a facility is "showing on CRMS". This article explains what the system is, what it is used for and how it sits beside the credit bureau reports that most Nigerians are more familiar with.
CRMS exists because the CBN supervises the banks and other institutions on its licensing lists, which cover deposit money banks, microfinance banks, finance companies, primary mortgage institutions and development finance institutions, among others. A central record of who owes what across those institutions lets the regulator watch concentrations of risk and lets a lender see whether a new applicant already carries facilities elsewhere.
In practice it does two jobs:
The detail depends on what institutions are required to report under the CBN's rules at the time. In general terms the record links a borrower, identified by details such as BVN for individuals or registration details for companies, to each facility: the lender, the type of facility, the amount and the performance status, including whether it is current or past due. Because it is fed by regulated lenders, a loan from an unlicensed money lender or many loan apps that are not CBN-licensed institutions will not appear there in the same way.
CRMS is not published. Access is limited to the CBN and to the reporting institutions for their credit decisions. That means a neighbour, employer or landlord cannot "check CRMS" on you, and a social media post saying you have been "listed on CRMS" is not something the poster can verify.
When a bank weighs a new loan, the CRMS check answers two questions: how much you already owe regulated lenders, and whether any of it is past due. A large existing facility can reduce what the bank is willing to offer even if every payment is current, because the bank looks at your total repayments against your income. A past-due entry usually leads to a decline or a request to clear it first. If a bank tells you a CRMS entry is the reason, ask which institution reported it, the facility type and the status shown, so you can deal with the right lender.
For a business, the same applies to company facilities and, often, to directors who guaranteed them. A director who signed a guarantee for a company loan may find that facility relevant when applying in their own name.
| Point | CBN CRMS | Private credit bureau |
|---|---|---|
| Run by | The Central Bank of Nigeria | Private companies licensed by the CBN |
| Main purpose | Supervision and lender checks | Credit reports and scores for lenders and consumers |
| Who reports into it | CBN-regulated lenders | Banks, microfinance banks, and many other lenders and data providers, including digital lenders |
| Can you order your own copy? | Through your bank or the CBN, not as a retail product | Yes, bureaus provide reports to consumers |
| Score | No consumer score | Usually includes a score |
| Disputes | Through the reporting bank, then the CBN | Through the bureau and the lender that supplied the data |
Digital lenders are also pulled towards the bureau system. The FCCPC's 2025 regulations say that where the Commission or a sector regulator directs it, lenders must furnish service data on consumers' use of their services to recognised credit bureaus (Regulation 25(1)(c)). So a loan app default is more likely to show on a bureau report than in CRMS. Our explainer on credit scores and bureaus covers how those reports are built.
The most common problem is a loan that was repaid but still shows as outstanding, or a facility you never took. The fix starts with the lender that reported it, because it controls the data.
If a lender asks for proof that you have kept up repayments, a verifiable statement generated through Pryme's partnership with VerifyDoc.ai lets the recipient confirm the document is genuine and unaltered. See verifiable receipts and statements.
CRMS is not a public service. Ask the bank you deal with what is reported against your BVN, and if you need more, use the CBN's consumer protection channel. You can also order your own credit bureau reports directly.
CRMS is fed by CBN-regulated lenders. Many loan apps are FCCPC-registered companies rather than CBN-licensed banks, and their data is more likely to go to credit bureaus.
A bank can decline a loan after seeing existing facilities or a past-due record. Ask what it saw and, if it is wrong, ask the reporting lender to correct it.
We could not confirm the CBN's current retention rule. A settled loan should show as settled; ask the reporting bank to update the status and confirm in writing.
