Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Holding a Lagos or Abuja property in a Canadian company changes the tax rate, the filings and the paperwork. T1135, T1134 and when each applies.
A Canadian corporation can own property in Nigeria, but rental income from a property it simply holds is generally investment income, not active business income, so the low small-business rate is unlikely to apply. If the company owns the property directly it tests Form T1135 at CAD 100,000 of cost; if it owns it through a Nigerian subsidiary, the subsidiary is a foreign affiliate and Form T1134 is due within ten months of the year end.
Some Nigerian-Canadian business owners already have a corporation in Ontario or Alberta and wonder whether to buy a Lekki flat or an Abuja plot through it, using retained profits. It can be done. The question is whether it helps, and it often does less than people expect.
| Structure | What the Canadian company owns | Main CRA filing |
|---|---|---|
| Direct ownership | The Nigerian property itself | Form T1135 if foreign property cost is over CAD 100,000 |
| Through a Nigerian subsidiary | Shares of a Nigerian company that owns the property | Form T1134 for the foreign affiliate |
The CRA's T2 guide (chapter 2, 28 May 2026) says a corporation files T1135 if the total cost of its specified foreign property was more than CAD 100,000, with a simplified version below CAD 250,000, and files T1134 within ten months after the end of its tax year. The CRA's foreign affiliate page confirms the ten-month deadline for tax years beginning after 2020 and says no supplement is needed for a dormant affiliate whose cost is under CAD 100,000.
The attraction is usually the small business deduction. The CRA's corporation tax rates page (modified 21 October 2026) gives a 15% net federal rate on general income and 9% for a Canadian-controlled private corporation's income eligible for the small business deduction, with a business limit of CAD 500,000 in most provinces. In Ontario, the provincial lower rate is 2.2% from 1 July 2026 and the higher rate 11.5%.
The small business rate is for active business income. Rent from a property the company only holds, with no staff running it as a business, is generally treated as investment income, which corporations pay tax on at higher rates, with part refundable when dividends are paid out. Ask a preparer how your facts would be classified before assuming a low rate.
A Canadian corporation reports in Canadian dollars unless it elects a functional currency, and the CRA's functional currency page limits that election to the British pound, euro, Australian dollar, US dollar and Japanese yen. The naira is not on the list, so every naira receipt and cost must be converted into CAD. Pick one rate source that quotes naira against the Canadian dollar and use it consistently in the company's books.
If you or your family stay in a company-owned Lagos house on visits, the CRA can treat personal use of company property by a shareholder as a taxable benefit to you. It also undercuts the claim that the property is held to earn income. The T1135 questions and answers exclude personal-use property for individuals; for a company, mixing business and personal use creates problems on both sides.
Under section 22 of the Land Use Act, a holder of a statutory right of occupancy cannot assign it without the Governor's consent first obtained, and section 26 makes contrary transactions void. A foreign company buying land needs the same consent and a lawyer who handles it regularly. Whether a Canadian company can hold Nigerian land directly or must use a Nigerian-registered entity, and what Nigerian tax applies to its rent, are questions for a Nigerian lawyer and tax adviser before you sign. The subsidiary route answers the first question but brings the T1134 filing and Nigerian company compliance.
An Ontario company buys a flat for the equivalent of CAD 120,000 and rents it out. Its total foreign property cost is over CAD 100,000 but below CAD 250,000 throughout the year, so it files T1135 using the simplified method. The net rent, converted into CAD, is taxed as the company's investment income. Had the company bought through a Nigerian subsidiary instead, it would file T1134 for that subsidiary each year within ten months of its year end.
Rent the company collects belongs to the company. When it is paid out to you as salary or dividends it is taxed again in your hands, with the corporate and personal systems designed to roughly balance over the two steps. That is why holding a passive property in a company rarely saves much tax on its own; the case for it is usually about keeping retained profits invested, liability, or estate planning, which a Canadian accountant can weigh for your figures.
For property held personally, see Lagos rental income on Form T776 and Nigerian land and T1135.
A Pryme Business Account holds NGN, USD, GBP and EUR with local account details (business multicurrency), so the company can collect rent in naira and keep it apart from personal money. The Finance agent can prepare a monthly ledger of rent and costs for a person to review; nothing is paid above a set ceiling without approval. See entities for which company types can open an account.
It can own property, directly or through a Nigerian subsidiary, but it needs the Governor's consent like any buyer; ask a Nigerian lawyer which structure is permitted.
Generally not. Rent from property the company only holds is investment income, not active business income.
When it owns a foreign affiliate, such as a Nigerian subsidiary, within ten months after its tax year end.
No. The functional currency election allows only GBP, EUR, AUD, USD and JPY.
