Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Part of the guideAI agents for business finance: what they can and can't do
An AI support agent can answer most routine questions a financial business receives: payment status, statements, fees, how-to steps and document requests, at any hour. It must hand over quickly to a person for complaints, disputes, fraud reports, hardship and anything that changes money or terms, and it must never trap a customer in a loop. Regulators in the UK, US and EU expect the same fair treatment and accurate information whether a person or a bot answers.
Support is where most customers meet a financial firm's AI first, so it is where trust is won or lost. The technology is now capable; the hard part is deciding what it may handle and how it lets go. This article covers support for businesses that handle other people's money, from payment firms to accountants. The wider governance model is in our guide to AI agents for business finance.
In the US, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau found that all of the top ten commercial banks use chatbots, and that about 37% of the US population, roughly 98 million people, had interacted with a bank chatbot in 2022. The same report cited estimates of about $0.70 saved per interaction. It also cited a survey in which 80% of consumers said they felt more frustrated after using a chatbot and 78% then needed a human.
Both findings are true at once. AI support saves money and can serve people well, and badly designed bots make customers angry. The difference is in what the bot is allowed to do and how quickly it hands over.
| Request | AI can handle | Hand to a person |
|---|---|---|
| "Where is my payment?" | Yes, from live ledger data | If the payment is missing or the customer disputes it |
| Statements, invoices, certificates | Yes | If the document needs correcting |
| Fees and how-to questions | Yes, from approved content | If the customer challenges a fee |
| Account details for receiving money | Yes, after verification | Never change them on request in chat |
| Complaint | Acknowledge and log | Always, with the history attached |
| Suspected fraud or scam | Give immediate safety steps | Always, at once |
| Financial difficulty or vulnerability | Recognise and route | Always |
| Bereavement or power of attorney | Recognise and route | Always |
| Request to change limits, terms or contact details | Collect information | A person, or a verified secure flow |
The table mirrors our article on finance decisions a person should make: the agent answers and prepares; anything that changes money, terms or a customer's circumstances goes to a named person.
Under the Consumer Duty, the FCA does not dictate which channels a firm offers, but expects the ones it offers to meet customers' needs, without unreasonable barriers or "sludge". Its 2025 review of the consumer support outcome, updated in July 2026, gave the example of a firm routing chatbot conversations about bereavement straight to a human, and of firms flagging vulnerability keywords in web chat to move those customers up the queue. Support after a sale should be as easy to reach as support before it.
The CFPB has said that firms using chatbots must still comply with federal consumer financial law, including giving accurate information, recognising when a customer is disputing something or invoking a legal right, and protecting personal data. A bot that cannot recognise a dispute does not remove the firm's duty to handle it.
From 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires AI systems that interact directly with people to make clear they are AI, unless that is obvious from the context. Support bots are usually not high-risk, but the disclosure duty applies. See the EU AI Act for finance teams.
A payments business receives 8,000 support contacts a month. The figures are illustrative.
Two cautions. The human cost per contact rises because the easy ones are gone, so do not cut staff to the point where queues for complaints and fraud grow. And measure satisfaction and complaint rates alongside cost; a saving that drives customers away is not a saving.
Useful measures to track each month: the share of conversations resolved without a person, the share escalated, time to reach a person once a handover is triggered, repeat contacts within seven days on the same issue, complaints that mention the bot, and a sample of answers checked for accuracy against your records.
Pryme business accounts include a Customer Support agent, one of four specialist agents alongside a Chief of Staff agent. Like the others, it prepares work inside a mandate with a ceiling; above the ceiling a person decides, and an audit trail records agent actions. The agents are built and certified by Pryme Intelligence, a separate company.
Outside Nigeria, Pryme's activities are carried out through regulated partners. For how the support agent fits with finance and compliance, return to the parent guide on AI agents in finance.
Yes. Most large banks already do. The firm remains responsible for accurate information, fair treatment, handling disputes and complaints properly and protecting data, whether a person or AI answers.
In the EU, from 2 August 2026, AI systems that interact with people must disclose that they are AI unless it is obvious. In the UK and US it is good practice and supports fair-treatment duties.
For complaints, disputes, fraud reports, signs of vulnerability or hardship, bereavement, and whenever the customer asks for a person or repeats a question. The handover should carry the full conversation.
It should not. Changes to payment or contact details are a common fraud route and should go through a verified, secure process, not a chat conversation.
