BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

An AI agent can sort invoices and draft UAE VAT return figures. These are the checks a finance lead must make before anything is filed with the FTA.
An AI agent can gather invoices, tag each one as standard-rated, zero-rated, exempt or reverse charge, convert foreign-currency amounts and draft the return figures, but a named person must review and file. The checks that matter most for a company trading with Nigeria are the exchange rate (the FTA expects the UAE Central Bank rate on the date of supply), the reverse charge on services bought from Nigerian suppliers, and import figures that customs pre-fills.
A finance agent is good at the repetitive part of VAT preparation: pulling every sales and purchase invoice for the tax period, reading the supplier, date, currency and amount, and suggesting a VAT treatment for each line. It can flag invoices with no tax registration number, duplicated invoice numbers and amounts that do not match the bank feed. What it cannot do is take responsibility. The return is the company's declaration to the Federal Tax Authority, so a person who understands the business signs off the treatment of anything unusual and presses submit.
Treat the agent's output as a draft working paper. The useful question is not whether the agent is accurate on average, but which lines it was unsure about and why. Ask it to list those first.
A UAE company paying Nigerian suppliers or billing Nigerian clients will hold invoices in naira and often in dollars. According to EY's summary of the FTA public clarification VATP004, Article 69 of the VAT Decree-Law requires foreign-currency amounts to be converted to dirhams at the exchange rate approved by the UAE Central Bank at the date of supply, using the rate published on the Central Bank website when the tax invoice is raised. The clarification also says the published rate must be used at its full precision; rounding it to fewer decimal places is not permitted.
This VAT conversion rule is separate from the rate your accountants use in the books, which is covered in which naira rate to use in UAE books.
When a UAE-registered business buys services from a supplier outside the UAE, such as a Lagos design studio or a Nigerian developer, the purchase is usually handled through the reverse charge: the UAE business accounts for the VAT itself. For these imported services, VATP004 (as summarised by EY) says to use the Central Bank rate on the date of supply, and that it is acceptable to use the invoice date as the date of supply.
Two things go wrong here. First, an agent may treat a foreign supplier invoice with no UAE VAT on it as simply out of scope and leave it off the return. Second, a Nigerian invoice may show Nigerian VAT. Nigeria's standard VAT rate is 7.5% and exported services are zero-rated in Nigeria, according to PwC's Nigeria tax summary, so a Nigerian supplier that has charged its own VAT on a service to a UAE company may have made an error. Nigerian VAT is not UAE VAT and should not be claimed as UAE input tax. Ask the agent to list every non-UAE supplier invoice separately so a person can decide the treatment. The detail sits in reverse charge on services from Nigeria.
If the company imports goods, the import VAT figure on the return is filled in from customs declarations. EY's summary of VATP004 says that where the Customs exchange rate differs from the Central Bank rate, businesses may use the Customs rate for import VAT, with no adjustment needed. An agent that recalculates import VAT at the Central Bank rate and then flags a difference is creating work, not finding an error. Tell it to reconcile the pre-filled customs figure to the import declarations instead.
Example, with invented figures. A Dubai company receives a ₦3,000,000 invoice from a Lagos marketing agency dated 10 March. Suppose the Central Bank rate published for that date was AED 0.00240 per naira. The agent converts: 3,000,000 x 0.00240 = AED 7,200. Under the reverse charge at the UAE standard rate, which you should confirm with the FTA, the company records output VAT on AED 7,200 and, if the service is used for taxable business, the same amount as input tax. The reviewer checks the date, the rate and that the agency did not add Nigerian VAT.
A Pryme Business Account includes a Finance agent that prepares this kind of working paper from your transactions. It drafts; a person approves above the ceiling you set, and every action is recorded. Naira and dirham-side payments sit in one multicurrency account, and verifiable receipts and statements from VerifyDoc.ai help auditors confirm documents are unaltered.
It can prepare the figures and supporting schedules, but the return is the company's declaration. A responsible person should review the exceptions and submit it.
According to EY's summary of FTA clarification VATP004, the UAE Central Bank rate on the date of supply, used at its full published precision. If the Central Bank does not publish naira for your date, ask the FTA or your tax agent.
No. Nigerian VAT is not UAE input tax. Services exported from Nigeria are zero-rated in Nigeria according to PwC, so query the invoice with the supplier.
