Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A worked budget for a 500-bag oyster mushroom room in Nigeria: spawn, sawdust, bags, a dark room, the harvest cycle and who actually buys.
A small oyster mushroom room of about 500 bags can be set up in Nigeria for roughly ₦700,000 in our labelled example, with about half of that being reusable room, drum and tools. Bags grown on sawdust typically take two to three weeks to colonise before mushrooms start to form, and the main buyers are hotels, restaurants, supermarkets and health-conscious households who want them fresh.
Oyster mushrooms grow on cheap farm and timber waste rather than soil. You pasteurise a substrate (most Nigerian growers use sawdust, sometimes mixed with bran or other farm waste), pack it into polythene bags, mix in spawn (the seed culture of the mushroom), and leave the bags in a warm, dark place while the white threads of the fungus spread through them. Once a bag is fully white, you move it into a humid room with some indirect light and fresh air, open or cut the bag, and mushrooms push out in clusters.
The crop suits small spaces. A spare room, a boys' quarters or a shed with good shade can work, provided you can keep it clean, damp and away from direct sun. The main risks are contamination (green or black moulds that ruin bags), dry air that stops the mushrooms forming, and a short shelf life once harvested.
The figures below are an example only, built to show the size of each cost. Prices vary by city and supplier, so get two or three quotes for spawn and bags before you commit.
| Item (example) | Basis | Cost (₦) |
|---|---|---|
| Room adaptation: blackout, racks, nets, drainage | One room, reused each cycle | 250,000 |
| Spawn | 50 packs at ₦2,500, about 10 bags per pack | 125,000 |
| Sawdust | Delivered, enough for 500 bags | 30,000 |
| Additives: bran and lime | For mixing and pH | 40,000 |
| Bags, neck rings and cotton plugs | 500 sets at ₦150 | 75,000 |
| Pasteurisation drum | Reused each cycle | 60,000 |
| Fuel for pasteurising | Gas or firewood for the cycle | 40,000 |
| Sprayer, thermometer and hygrometer | Reused | 35,000 |
| Transport and sundries | Cycle | 45,000 |
| Total | 700,000 |
Of that ₦700,000, the room, drum and tools (₦345,000) are one-off. The cost that repeats every cycle is ₦355,000 in this example: spawn, sawdust, additives, bags, fuel and sundries.
Timings depend on the strain, the substrate and how warm and humid your room is. In a 2024 trial of Pleurotus ostreatus on five farm wastes, sawdust bags completed their spawn run in 18 days and formed pinheads at 21 days; that study was done in India, so treat it as a guide rather than a Nigerian rule. Your spawn supplier should give you the expected timing for the strain you buy.
A bag usually gives more than one flush. For planning, the example below assumes three flushes over about six weeks after fruiting begins, with smaller flushes each time.
The first cycle carries the ₦345,000 of one-off spending, so in this example you get your money back in the second cycle, not the first. If contamination climbs to 30%, yield drops to 105kg and revenue to ₦420,000, which leaves only ₦65,000 over recurring cost. Hygiene is the profit lever.
Fresh oyster mushrooms spoil quickly, so plan sales before you plan harvests. Many small growers stagger their bags so that a few are fruiting every week instead of all at once.
Once you are supplying hotels and stores, a Pryme Business Account keeps farm money separate from personal spending, and invoicing helps you track who has paid. You can issue a verifiable receipt through VerifyDoc.ai so a buyer's accounts team can confirm it is unaltered (receipts). For a farm that sells to restaurants, see also what cold storage costs. For pricing when supply costs move, read how grocers price in a rising market.
In our labelled example, about ₦700,000 for a 500-bag room, of which roughly ₦345,000 is reusable room, drum and tools. You can start smaller with 100 bags to learn the process first.
Bags on sawdust took 18 days to colonise and formed pinheads at 21 days in a 2024 trial, though that was not in Nigeria. Harvests then come in flushes over the following weeks.
Hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, health-food buyers and households. Line up buyers before you harvest, because fresh mushrooms keep only a few days.
It can be, but contamination decides it. In our example a 10% loss leaves ₦185,000 per cycle over recurring costs, while a 30% loss leaves ₦65,000.
