Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What usually happens after you miss a loan app payment in Nigeria, from late fees and calls to bureau reporting and write-off, and what to do at each step.
No Nigerian rule sets a fixed default timeline; your loan agreement and the lender's process do, and the FCCPC's 2025 Regulations require the agreement to state its recovery methods. Typically you see debit attempts and late fees in week one, collections in weeks two to four, and possible credit bureau reporting and a demand letter from about the second or third month.
No Nigerian regulation sets a day-by-day schedule for what a loan app does after you miss a payment. What happens, and when, is set by three things: your loan agreement, the lender's own collections process, and the limits the law places on how it may behave. The FCCPC's Digital, Electronic, Online or Non-Traditional Consumer Lending Regulations 2025 require every agreement to set out its default recovery or enforcement methods (Regulation 13(1)(h)) and require loan terms, including fees, to be disclosed before you borrow (Regulation 17(a)). So the first place to look is your own agreement.
The timeline below is an illustration of a pattern many short-term lenders follow. Your lender's may be faster or slower, and the charges are whatever your agreement states. Read it as a map of the stages, not as a promise.
On the due date, if you have a card or mandate on file, expect repeated attempts to debit it. Many agreements add a late charge from the first missed day, either as a one-off fee or a daily percentage. Reminders by SMS, push notification and calls usually start straight away. This is the cheapest stage to act: a lender is most willing to agree a short extension or a part-payment plan before the account moves to a collections team.
The account typically moves to an internal collections team or an outside recovery agent. Calls become more frequent. Some lenders reduce your access to further borrowing across their products. This is also the stage where unlawful pressure tends to appear: messages to your contacts, threats, or insulting language. The DEON Regulations require lenders to conduct business in a responsible, professional and ethical manner (Regulation 19(a)) and to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (Regulation 21(a)), and the FCCPC has publicly acted against what it called unethical recovery methods. If this happens, see what to do when a loan app messages your contacts and loan app harassment: your rights.
Lenders furnish data on how consumers use their services to licensed credit bureaus where required or directed by the FCCPC or a sector regulator (Regulation 25(1)(c)). The Regulations do not fix how often, so a missed payment may appear on your credit report within weeks or a few months depending on the lender's reporting cycle. Once it does, other lenders who check the bureaus can see it. Our explainer on how the credit bureaus work covers what a report shows.
Around this stage a lender may also send a formal demand letter, pass the account to a law firm, or offer a settlement. A demand letter from a lawyer is a step towards a civil claim, not a criminal case: owing money is a civil matter. See can a loan app sue you for how that works.
Many lenders write off a loan in their accounts once it has been unpaid for a long period. That is an accounting step. The debt still exists, collection can continue, and the bureau record stays. Our guide to loan write-off explains the difference.
| Stage (illustration) | What usually happens | Your best move |
|---|---|---|
| Due date | Card or mandate debit attempts; reminders | Pay, or tell the lender in writing what you can pay |
| Days 1 to 7 | Late charges per your agreement; calls | Ask for a short extension or part-payment plan |
| Days 8 to 30 | Collections team or agent; borrowing restricted | Keep everything in writing; report any harassment |
| Days 31 to 90 | Possible bureau reporting; demand letter | Propose a written repayment plan or settlement |
| After 90 | Possible write-off; continued collection | Settle and get a closure letter and bureau update |
Example only. Tunde owes ₦30,000 on the due date. His agreement adds a one-off late fee of ₦3,000 and 1% of the overdue amount per day after that. After 20 days he owes ₦30,000 + ₦3,000 + (₦300 × 20) = ₦39,000, an extra ₦9,000. If he had agreed a 14-day extension on day 2 with no further charge, he would have paid ₦33,000 instead. Your agreement may calculate daily charges on a different base; check how it is worded.
With Loans on Spaces, lent by Solid Allianze MFB, the amount, cost and repayment date are shown in full before you accept, and the money can only be spent with Spaces merchants. If a repayment is missed, our guide missed a Loans on Spaces repayment? sets out what happens. More on Loans on Spaces.
Expect debit attempts and late charges first, then collections calls, then possible credit bureau reporting and a demand letter. The exact steps and charges are in your loan agreement.
No regulation fixes the timing. Lenders furnish data to licensed bureaus where required or directed by the FCCPC or a sector regulator, and each runs its own reporting cycle.
No. A loan app cannot arrest anyone, and unpaid debt is a civil matter. A lender may sue you in a civil court.
Not necessarily. Write-off is an accounting entry; the debt remains and collection can continue.
