Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

When a sender's bank reports a transfer to you as a mistake or fraud, your bank may restrict your account. How the inter-bank release works.
When another bank reports that money it sent to you was a mistake or a fraud, your bank can place a Post No Debit on your account under CBN fraud-desk rules, and the restriction normally comes off only when the complaint is settled between the two banks. In practice that means either you consent in writing to return the disputed amount, or you give your bank evidence that the payment was owed to you so the sending bank can withdraw its complaint; if neither works, the dispute goes to the CBN or a court.
This kind of PND surprises people because they did nothing at their own bank. Someone paid them, the payer's bank later raised a complaint, and their own bank acted on it. The release does not depend only on your bank. It depends on the bank that raised the complaint, and on what you can show.
The CBN circular on the establishment of Industry Fraud Desks (11 June 2015) allows banks to block accounts or place No Debit restrictions when they receive fraud complaints, and the CBN's Regulation on Instant (Inter-Bank) Electronic Funds Transfer Services of 13 July 2018 adopts it at regulation 10(3), according to a November 2025 review by the law firm Templars. The Court of Appeal relied on such instruments, together with the customer's signed account terms, in Kuda Microfinance Bank v Amarachi Kenneth Blessing (27 December 2024), where ₦5,000,000 had been received in error: it held the restriction could be placed without a court order.
The 2018 regulation also set out a process for wrong transfers. As ThisDay reported it in September 2018, the sending institution makes a written request, and where the funds are still in the account the receiving institution is expected to act within one business day; where the funds have gone, the customer is notified and may face watch-listing, credit bureau reporting or a law enforcement referral. We could not confirm on a CBN page how this is applied today, so treat it as background.
If the transfer was a genuine mistake, the quickest route is to agree in writing that the disputed amount can be debited and returned. Your bank sends it back through the sending bank, which then confirms the complaint is closed. Ask your bank to confirm in writing that the PND will be lifted once the return is made, and ask for the amount being returned. Do not send the money back yourself to a number or account someone gives you by phone; scammers use fake 'wrong transfers' to trick people into paying them. Our guide Someone sent money to your account by mistake? explains the pattern.
If you sold goods or did work and the payer later claimed fraud or 'mistake', you should not simply consent. Instead, give your bank a written statement and the evidence, and ask it to pass the evidence to the sending bank. Useful documents include:
The sending bank may then ask its own customer to withdraw the complaint. If its customer was itself a fraud victim and your goods were paid for with stolen money, expect a longer process; that situation is covered in account restricted after receiving a scam transfer.
Example only. Tunde receives ₦250,000 in two transfers: ₦200,000 for a phone he sold and ₦50,000 sent in error by the same payer. The payer's bank reports both. Tunde's bank places a PND. Tunde consents to return the ₦50,000 and sends the sale chat and delivery photo for the ₦200,000. Total under dispute: ₦250,000; returned: ₦50,000; evidence submitted for ₦200,000 (₦250,000 − ₦50,000). His bank returns the ₦50,000 and forwards the evidence; the PND is lifted when the sending bank closes the complaint. He keeps a copy of every letter.
The sources we checked do not set a deadline by which the complaining bank must close a fraud complaint. Templars warns that standard account forms can give banks wide powers to restrict. If weeks pass with no answer, the CBN complaint route is the next step, and the courts are the last. In Paulyn Abhulimen v Zenith Bank (FCT High Court, 16 July 2025, a persuasive decision that may be appealed), the court found the bank negligent for failing to notify its customer of a restriction, which supports asking your bank for full written reasons.
If you trade, receiving payment by bank-transfer checkout or an invoice creates a record that ties each payment to a sale, and a verifiable statement from receipts and statements can be checked by the other bank as unaltered. Pryme's Naira accounts are held by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank, which follows the same CBN fraud-desk process.
The sending bank raised a fraud or mistaken-transfer complaint. CBN fraud-desk rules let your bank restrict the account while the complaint is resolved.
Commentary from LawPavilion says banks generally need the recipient's consent or a court order to reverse a wrong-beneficiary transfer, except for system glitches. Your account terms may also matter.
The sources we checked set no fixed deadline. It usually lasts until the complaint is closed by consent, evidence or a court decision.
Do not consent to a return. Give your bank written evidence of the sale and ask it to forward it to the sending bank.
