Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Below the VAT threshold? Then your invoice should carry no VAT line. What to write instead, and how to stop customers deducting VAT never charged.
Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, a small business (turnover of ₦100 million or less and fixed assets not above ₦250 million, excluding professional service providers) is exempt from registering for, charging and remitting VAT. If you are in that group and have not opted in, do not put a VAT line on your invoice. Show the price as the full amount due and add a short note stating that no VAT is charged and why.
A common mistake among small Nigerian businesses is adding 7.5% VAT to an invoice "because the client asked for it" or because a template included the line. If you are not required to charge VAT, collecting it creates a problem: you have taken money described as tax that you are not set up to remit. The opposite mistake also happens: a business customer deducts VAT from your invoice as though you had charged it, leaving you short.
The Nigeria Tax Act 2025 took effect on 1 January 2026. According to Forvis Mazars (16 March 2026), the VAT rate remains 7.5%, and a small business is exempt from VAT registration, charging VAT, filing returns and remitting VAT if it meets both of these tests:
Two qualifications matter. First, professional service providers are excluded from the small business definition, so a small firm of consultants, lawyers or accountants cannot assume the exemption applies; check how the NRS treats your work. Second, the exemption can be given up: Forvis Mazars notes that a small business may opt out by written notice, and some do so because larger customers prefer suppliers who charge VAT. Once turnover passes the threshold, VAT compliance becomes mandatory. Our planned guide on the VAT registration threshold covers the timing.
The invoice should show everything a normal invoice shows (see our invoice checklist), but with the tax area handled clearly:
Keep the wording factual. Do not write that the goods or services are "VAT exempt" unless that is true of the supply itself; the point is that you, the supplier, are not charging VAT.
Business customers sometimes run every supplier invoice through the same process: split out VAT, then deduct withholding tax. If your invoice has no VAT, there is nothing to split, but a busy accounts officer may still treat 7.5% of your total as VAT. The note on the invoice is the first defence. The second is to confirm in writing, when you are set up as a vendor, that you do not charge VAT.
There is a related point the customer's accountant may raise. Forvis Mazars reports that under the new law larger companies must self-charge VAT on supplies they receive from exempt small businesses. That is the buyer's own obligation, accounted for in its own returns. It does not entitle the buyer to reduce what it pays you.
Not charging VAT does not stop a customer deducting WHT, which is an advance payment of your income tax, not a sales tax. The Withholding Tax Regulations 2024, effective 1 January 2025 according to SCP Law (October 2024), set rates such as 2% for supply of goods and 5% for consultancy and professional fees, per the Mondaq summary of July 2024. The same summary notes that small companies with turnover below ₦25 million need not deduct WHT where the supplier has a TIN and the transaction is ₦2 million or less in the month. If WHT is deducted, ask for the receipt; see when a customer pays less than the invoice.
Example only. A small printing business, not VAT registered and within the small business definition, supplies 500 brochures to a company for ₦250,000.
| Line | Correct invoice | Wrong invoice |
|---|---|---|
| Brochures, 500 | ₦250,000 | ₦250,000 |
| VAT | No line; note explains | ₦18,750 (7.5%) |
| Total due | ₦250,000 | ₦268,750 |
| If customer deducts 2% WHT on goods | Pays ₦245,000, issues WHT receipt for ₦5,000 | Confusion over what was VAT and what was price |
Check the sums: 7.5% of ₦250,000 is ₦18,750, and 2% of ₦250,000 is ₦5,000. On the correct invoice, ₦245,000 received plus a ₦5,000 WHT credit settles the ₦250,000 in full.
A Pryme Business Account supports invoicing alongside a business multicurrency account. Its Finance agent prepares work for a person to approve above a set ceiling, but the decision on whether you charge VAT rests with you and your accountant.
No. Under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, a small business within the ₦100 million turnover and ₦250 million fixed assets limits is exempt from charging VAT, unless it opts in. Professional service providers are excluded from that definition.
Leave out the VAT line, show a single total due, and add a short note such as "No VAT has been charged; the business is not registered for VAT as a small business under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025."
There is no VAT on the invoice to deduct. A larger customer may have to self-charge VAT in its own records, but that does not reduce what it owes you. Withholding tax is separate and may still be deducted.
Forvis Mazars (March 2026) reports that the small business exemption under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 uses ₦100 million turnover and ₦250 million fixed assets. Confirm your position with the NRS.
