Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Flat interest is principal × rate × time. Reducing-balance interest is charged on what you still owe. Both methods, with naira examples.
For flat (simple) interest, multiply the amount borrowed by the rate and by the time, with the rate and time in the same units: ₦100,000 × 5% a month × 6 months = ₦30,000. For reducing-balance interest, apply the rate each period to the balance still owed, which in the same example gives about ₦18,210. Your agreement says which method applies.
This is flat or simple interest. It is charged on the original amount for the whole term, whether or not you have repaid any of it. The only rule is that R and T must match. A monthly rate with time in years, or a yearly rate with time in months, is the most common error.
| Loan | Working | Interest |
|---|---|---|
| ₦100,000 at 5% a month for 6 months | 100,000 × 0.05 × 6 | ₦30,000 |
| ₦500,000 at 24% a year for 2 years | 500,000 × 0.24 × 2 | ₦240,000 |
| ₦20,000 at 1% a day for 14 days | 20,000 × 0.01 × 14 | ₦2,800 |
If a rate is quoted yearly but the loan is shorter, convert the time: ₦500,000 at 24% a year for 9 months is 500,000 × 0.24 × 9 ÷ 12 = ₦90,000.
Most bank term loans and many instalment loans charge interest on the reducing balance. Each period, interest = rate × the balance owed at the start of that period. As you repay principal, the next period's interest is smaller.
Example only: ₦100,000 at 5% a month, repaid in six equal instalments. The equal instalment, from the EMI formula or =PMT(5%,6,-100000) in a spreadsheet, is ₦19,701.75.
| Month | Opening balance | Interest (5%) | Principal repaid | Closing balance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ₦100,000.00 | ₦5,000.00 | ₦14,701.75 | ₦85,298.25 |
| 2 | ₦85,298.25 | ₦4,264.91 | ₦15,436.84 | ₦69,861.41 |
| 3 | ₦69,861.41 | ₦3,493.07 | ₦16,208.68 | ₦53,652.73 |
| 4 | ₦53,652.73 | ₦2,682.64 | ₦17,019.11 | ₦36,633.62 |
| 5 | ₦36,633.62 | ₦1,831.68 | ₦17,870.07 | ₦18,763.55 |
| 6 | ₦18,763.55 | ₦938.18 | ₦18,763.57 | ₦0.00 |
Total interest: about ₦18,210, against ₦30,000 if the same 5% were charged flat. The difference comes entirely from charging interest only on what you still owe. Totals can differ by a few kobo from rounding. The EMI formula guide shows how the instalment is derived, and our ₦200,000 comparison sets the two methods side by side over 12 months.
Short loans are often priced per day or as a single charge for the whole period. A daily rate uses the same formula with T in days. If the agreement says interest accrues daily on the outstanding balance, then paying part of it early reduces the next day's charge. If it is a single fixed charge for the term, it is effectively flat. To compare a short loan with a longer one, turn its cost into an annual rate; see working out the APR of a loan app offer.
When unpaid interest is added to the balance and itself attracts interest, the loan compounds. For a balance left untouched, the formula is: balance after n periods = P × (1 + R)^n. Example only: ₦100,000 left unpaid for six months at 5% a month compounding becomes 100,000 × 1.05^6 = ₦134,009.56, against ₦130,000 with simple interest. Compounding mainly matters on overdue balances and revolving credit.
Processing, management and insurance fees are often charged separately and do not appear in I = P × R × T. Add them to the interest to get the total cost of borrowing. The FCCPC's 2025 digital lending regulations require lenders to disclose interest rates, repayment terms and fees fully before the transaction is completed (Regulation 17(a)), and to display rates and charges on their platforms (17(b)).
Loans on Spaces are lent by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd and can be spent only with merchants in Spaces. The agreement shows the amount, cost and repayment date in full before you accept, so you can check the figures with these formulas. See Loans on Spaces.
Flat interest is principal × rate × time, with rate and time in the same units. Reducing-balance interest is the rate applied each period to the balance still owed.
5% of ₦100,000 is ₦5,000 for one period. Over six months at 5% a month flat that is ₦30,000; on a reducing balance with equal repayments it is about ₦18,210.
Divide the annual rate by 12. 24% a year is 2% a month for a simple monthly figure.
Both are used. Banks often quote a yearly rate; many short-term lenders quote monthly or daily. Check your agreement and convert to the same unit before comparing.
