Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Most study-abroad agents are paid commission by the university once you enrol. How the model works, the conflicts it creates and the questions to ask.
Most study-abroad agents are paid a commission by the university once you enrol, which is why many offer their help to students for free; some also charge students a fee for extra services. The University of Bedfordshire, for example, says its agents are paid commission on the net fee the student actually pays and that this "may influence how they advise you", so ask every agent which universities pay them.
An education agent recruits students for universities and colleges abroad. In the usual arrangement the university signs a contract with the agent and pays a commission for each student who enrols and pays fees. The student often pays the agent nothing, or pays only for separate services.
Universities say this openly. The University of Bedfordshire's guidance for students states that "generally agents are paid by the university on a commission basis once you enrol", that commission is calculated on the net fee the student actually pays, and that this "may influence how they advise you". It also says applying directly is free and that agents should not charge an application fee.
Some universities pay different rates for different kinds of student. The University of Salford's agent page, for instance, describes undergraduates being tagged to an agent at a "full commission rate" and postgraduates at a "visa counselling rate", without publishing the rates.
Commission rates are set in private contracts and are rarely published. The best public figure we found is old: Times Higher Education reported in 2015, from Freedom of Information requests, that UK universities paid agents an average of £1,767 per non-EU recruit in 2013-14, and spent £86.7 million on agents across 106 institutions that year. Treat that only as evidence that commission is a large business, not as today's rate.
An agent paid by universities is, in part, a salesperson for those universities. That does not make the advice bad, but it shapes it in ways worth knowing.
| Arrangement | What it can mean for you |
|---|---|
| Agent has contracts with only some universities | You may only hear about those, even if another school suits you better. |
| Commission is based on the fee you pay | A course or school with higher fees, or a smaller scholarship, can be worth more to the agent. |
| Commission is paid once you enrol | The agent's income depends on you enrolling somewhere, not on the visa or course being right for you. |
| Agent also charges you a fee | You may be paying twice for the same work; ask what the fee covers that commission does not. |
| Sub-agent working under a larger agent | You may not be able to tell who is accountable or whether the university knows them. |
Governments have started to act on some of these conflicts. Study Australia announced in February 2026 that registered Australian providers are banned from paying agents commission for onshore student transfers that occur after 31 March 2026, while commission on a student's first enrolment is still allowed and agents may charge students a direct fee.
In the UK, the Agent Quality Framework (AQF) is a sector code introduced by BUILA, Universities UK International, UKCISA and the British Council, built on student choice, good governance, ethical practice and transparency. Universities can sign a public pledge, launched in December 2023. HEPI reported in May 2026 that the Home Office's student sponsor guidance (7 April 2026) now says sponsors using agents must have committed to the AQF's key principles.
The same HEPI review found that about a third of the universities it sampled did not explain how agents are paid, and that sub-agents are a weak spot. So a pledge is a good sign, not a guarantee of transparency.
Check the answer on the university's own website, not the agent's. Many universities publish their agent lists by country. For more checks, see how to vet a visa agent, what visa agents can charge and how to verify an admission offer.
Example only. A Lagos student is choosing between two UK master's courses. Course A charges £18,000 with a £3,000 scholarship, so the net fee is £15,000. Course B charges £16,000 with no scholarship, so the net fee is £16,000. If an agent's contract paid, say, 10% of net fee, Course A would earn the agent £1,500 and Course B £1,600. The £100 difference is small, but if only Course B's university has a contract with the agent, Course A may never be mentioned at all. The student should compare courses on their own merits, then check whether the agent is linked to either.
Whatever route you use, pay tuition deposits only to the university's published account. A Pryme account holds NGN, GBP, USD and EUR, so money sent to you in pounds can stay in pounds until you send it to the university, and you can generate a verifiable statement through our partner VerifyDoc.ai when a university or visa office asks for proof of funds. Many do not, because universities pay them commission when you enrol. Some charge students for extra services. Ask in writing what you are paying for, and note that applying directly to a university is often free.
Rates are in private contracts and rarely published. An old Times Higher Education report found UK universities paid an average of £1,767 per non-EU recruit in 2013-14; current rates may differ.
Both are allowed. Universities such as Bedfordshire say all applicants are treated equally and you can apply directly. An agent can help with paperwork, but ask who pays them.
Check the university's own website for its list of authorised agents, often by country, and email the international office using contacts from that website.
