Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What it costs to run a guesthouse or tour service in Jos, from CAC registration to staff pay and power, with permits to check and a worked monthly budget.
Running a guesthouse or tour business in Jos means registering the business with the CAC (₦20,000 for a business name under the May 2025 fee schedule), checking state tourism, tax and safety requirements with Plateau State authorities, and budgeting for staff, power and marketing. Visitors come for attractions such as Shere Hills and the Jos Wildlife Park and for the cool climate, but demand is seasonal, so plan cash flow for quiet months.
Jos has long drawn visitors for its climate and scenery, and attractions such as Shere Hills and the Jos Wildlife Park are regularly visited. That creates room for small guesthouses, shortlets and guided tour services. This guide sets out the registrations to check, the costs to plan, and a worked monthly budget. Only the CAC fees and minimum wage figure are official; everything else is an example to adapt.
| Requirement | Who handles it | What we could confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Business registration | Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) | Business name registration ₦20,000 including certified copies; name reservation ₦1,000 (fee schedule, May 2025) |
| Tourism or hospitality registration | Plateau State government body for tourism | Requirement, grading and fees not confirmed online; ask before opening |
| State taxes and levies | Plateau State Internal Revenue Service and your local government | Rates not confirmed for this article; see our guide below |
| Fire and safety | State fire service | Ask about inspection and extinguisher requirements |
| Signage | State or local signage authority | Ask before installing a large sign |
For the tax side, see small business taxes in Jos and registering a business in Jos. If you will guide visitors on hikes or into protected areas, ask the managers of each site whether tour operators need permission or pay a fee; we could not confirm any published rules.
| Item | Example (₦) |
|---|---|
| CAC business name registration | 20,000 |
| Furnishing four rooms (beds, linen, curtains, small fridge) | 2,400,000 |
| Inverter and batteries for backup power | 1,200,000 |
| Water heaters for four bathrooms | 320,000 |
| Website, photos and listing set-up | 150,000 |
| Fire extinguishers and first-aid | 80,000 |
| Total | 4,170,000 |
Only the CAC fee is official. The rest are examples to help you plan; get quotes. In Jos, hot water and warm bedding matter more than in most Nigerian cities, because guests come for the cool weather and nights are cold in the Harmattan.
| Item | Example monthly (₦) |
|---|---|
| Rent or lease (₦3,600,000 a year ÷ 12) | 300,000 |
| Two staff (housekeeping and front desk) | 200,000 |
| Electricity | 90,000 |
| Water, laundry and cleaning supplies | 60,000 |
| Internet and phones | 30,000 |
| Marketing and booking-site commissions | 50,000 |
| Repairs and replacements | 40,000 |
| Total | 770,000 |
On staff pay, the national minimum wage is ₦70,000 a month under the 2024 amendment. SCP Law's summary of the Act notes that exemptions retained from the earlier law include establishments with fewer than 25 employees, but paying below ₦70,000 makes it harder to keep good staff; this is information, not legal advice.
With four rooms at an example rate of ₦25,000 a night, each night at full occupancy brings in ₦100,000. To cover ₦770,000 a month you need about 31 room-nights (₦770,000 ÷ ₦25,000 = 30.8), which is about 26% occupancy across a 30-day month (31 ÷ 120 available room-nights). Anything above that contributes to profit and to saving for the quiet months.
Demand for Jos guesthouses rises around holidays, festivals, conferences and graduation periods, and falls in the quiet months. As an example, if you sell 60 room-nights in a busy month and only 20 in a quiet one at ₦25,000 a night, revenue swings from ₦1,500,000 to ₦500,000, while costs stay near ₦770,000. The busy month's surplus of ₦730,000 has to carry the quiet month's shortfall of ₦270,000. Put a fixed share of every busy month's surplus aside the day it comes in.
Ask an insurer about property and public liability cover, keep a guest register, fit door locks and smoke detectors, and keep a first-aid kit at the desk. Guests are more likely to book a place whose reviews mention safety and cleanliness than one that is simply cheap.
A guided tour business needs less capital but more planning. Costs usually include a reliable vehicle or a hire arrangement, fuel, a guide's day rate, entry fees at each site, insurance and marketing. Price per person to cover the vehicle cost even when a group is small, and agree cancellation terms in writing. Hotels and guesthouses are natural partners: offer them a commission for each guest they refer.
A Pryme Business Account can take guest payments by bank transfer through checkout (free) and hold GBP, USD and EUR from foreign guests with multicurrency details. The Customer Support agent can draft replies to booking enquiries for a person to approve. Spaces, Pryme's merchant ecosystem, currently operates in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
You should register the business with the CAC and ask the Plateau State government body responsible for tourism about registration and grading; we could not confirm its requirements or fees online. Also check state tax, fire safety and signage rules.
As a worked example, about ₦4.2 million to furnish four rooms with backup power and hot water, before rent. Only the ₦20,000 CAC business name fee is an official figure.
It can be if occupancy covers costs. In our example, four rooms at ₦25,000 a night break even at about 26% occupancy. Demand is seasonal, so plan for quiet months.
Visitors commonly go to Shere Hills and the Jos Wildlife Park, among others, and many come for the cool climate.
