Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Every approval a Nigerian filling station needs, from NMDPRA site and ATC approval to fire certificates, state permits and an LPG add-on.
The core licence for a filling station comes from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) in stages: site suitability, Approval to Construct, then a licence to operate. Around it sit other approvals: CAC registration and tax clearance, land title and state building approval, police and fire service reports, an environmental assessment where required, an annual fire safety certificate, state business premises registration, and a separate licence if you add a gas bay. NMDPRA's current fee schedule was not readable online in October 2026, so get the figures from the field office before you budget.
Most guides stop at the NMDPRA licence. In practice a station deals with federal, state and local bodies, and a missing approval from any of them can delay opening or close a working site. This article lists them in the order you usually need them. For a step-by-step account of NMDPRA's own process, see filling station licence: NMDPRA steps.
| Approval | Who issues it | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Company registration and tax ID | CAC; tax authority | Before applying for anything |
| Land title and survey | State lands registry; registered surveyor | Before site inspection |
| Building plan approval | State planning authority | Before construction |
| Site suitability | NMDPRA field office | Before the Approval to Construct |
| Police and fire reports | Divisional police; fire service | With the ATC application |
| Environmental assessment | Environmental regulator, where required | With the ATC application |
| Approval to Construct (ATC) | NMDPRA | Before building |
| Contractor service permits | NMDPRA (MDOGISP portal) | Before contractors start work |
| Licence to operate | NMDPRA | Before selling fuel |
| Fire safety certificate | Fire service | Before opening, then yearly |
| Business premises registration | State government | Yearly |
NMDPRA took over downstream licensing from the former Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR). The detailed checklist most operators still follow is DPR's 2015 filling station guideline, as summarised by TheNigeriaLawyer in April 2021. Its key site rules: pumps at least 15 metres from the road, no more than four stations on a 2 km stretch counting both sides, at least 400 metres from an existing station, and no site on a pipeline or high-tension right of way.
The ATC application asked for incorporation documents, the memorandum and articles, tax clearance, police and fire reports, approved building plans, survey and title documents, and an environmental impact assessment where underground tank capacity exceeds 270,000 litres. Under that guideline, an ATC lapsed if development did not start within three months. The licence to operate required, among other things, three underground tanks, dispensers, an office, a fence of at least 1.5 metres, a canopy, a generator and a price board.
Licence fees under the 2015 guideline were paid by bank draft and scaled with storage capacity; the summary gives no amounts. Ask the field office for a written fee breakdown for your tank capacity.
A fire safety certificate is issued by the nearest fire service after inspection of hydrants and water supply, detectors, alarms, signage, escape routes and extinguishers, and is renewed yearly, according to a Proshare legal note (April 2018). The fees are invoiced after you comply, so the certificate cannot be budgeted precisely in advance.
Enforcement is active. In December 2024 NMDPRA's Akwa Ibom coordinator told The Guardian that the authority was sealing outlets operating without licences, and that marketers must register or renew before operating.
Firms that build stations, install tanks and lay pipework need NMDPRA service permits through the MDOGISP portal. The portal's FAQ (October 2026) lists General (₦5,500), Major (₦27,500) and Specialised (₦257,500) permits including processing, valid for one year, with a 'verify permit' option. Check your contractor's permit before signing.
An LPG bay at a fuel station is a separate approval. DPR's 2018 LPG guidelines treat it as an 'add-on' with its own application, pre-licence inspection, operating licence and renewal. Add-on storage is limited to 1 to 5 tonnes (above that needs a standalone plant), the site must be at least 1,300 square metres, and gas tanks must be at least 5 metres from the underground fuel tanks. Renewal requires an annual safety audit by an accredited company. See licences for an LPG gas plant or skid.
States may charge business premises registration. The Taxes and Levies (Approved List for Collection) Act, as published by PLAC, caps business premises registration in urban areas at up to ₦10,000 for registration and ₦5,000 for annual renewal (₦2,000 and ₦1,000 in rural areas), and says only the appropriate tax authority may collect. Ask for an official receipt for any levy you pay.
Because so few official fees are published, plan the approvals budget as a list of quotes rather than one figure: the surveyor, the environmental consultant where an assessment is needed, the architect's drawings for building approval, the fire service's post-inspection invoice, NMDPRA's capacity-based fees, and your contractors' permits. Allow time as well as money. Each stage depends on the one before it, so a delay at site inspection pushes back everything that follows, and under the 2015 guideline the clock starts running on your ATC as soon as it is granted.
The Compliance agent in a Pryme Business Account can prepare renewal reminders and keep the approval file in one place for a manager to review. For the daily cash side, see daily reconciliation at a filling station.

NMDPRA's fee schedule was not readable online in October 2026. Under the 2015 DPR guideline, fees scaled with storage capacity. Get a written fee breakdown from your NMDPRA field office.
DPR's 2015 guideline required at least 400 metres from an existing station and no more than four stations on a 2 km stretch. Confirm current rules with NMDPRA.
Yes, with a separate LPG add-on approval and licence. DPR's 2018 guideline limits add-on storage to 1 to 5 tonnes and requires a site of at least 1,300 square metres.
