What AI agents can do in bookkeeping, close, collections and compliance today, where a person must stay in charge, and how to judge a product.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals and follows up. Nothing leaves your account without your approval.
Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

BruceCareYour competitor down the road sells the same thing you sell. The difference is who walks in. We put money in people’s hands that can only be spent in businesses like yours — and then we point them at you.
You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

No card, no OTP, nothing for the buyer to type in. They transfer from the bank app they already use, and the money lands in the same account your agents are running — already matched to the order, already in your books.
We give the buyer a one-time account number. They transfer to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Use PMT, monthly rates and a simple schedule to build your own naira loan calculator in Excel or Google Sheets, cell by cell.
Put the loan amount, the monthly rate and the number of months in three cells, then use =PMT(rate, months, -amount) to get the equal monthly repayment. Excel and Google Sheets both require the rate and the number of payments in the same units, so a yearly rate must be divided by 12 for monthly payments. A schedule then follows from four simple columns: interest, principal, payment and balance.
A calculator that tells you, for any reducing-balance loan with equal monthly payments: the monthly repayment, the total paid, the total interest, and a month-by-month schedule showing how the balance falls. It works the same in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. It will not model flat-rate loans or one-off fees on its own; a section below shows how to add those.
| Cell | Label (column A) | Value (column B) |
|---|---|---|
| B1 | Loan amount (₦) | 600000 |
| B2 | Annual rate | 30% |
| B3 | Months | 18 |
| B4 | Monthly rate | =B2/12 |
| B5 | Upfront fee (₦) | 0 |
Example only: ₦600,000 at 30% a year over 18 months. If your lender quotes a monthly rate, type it straight into B4 instead and ignore B2. Microsoft's PMT documentation says to keep rate and number of payments consistent: for a four-year loan at 12% a year paid monthly, use 12%/12 and 4*12. Google's help page gives the same instruction.
| Cell | Label | Formula | Result in the example |
|---|---|---|---|
| B7 | Monthly repayment | =PMT(B4,B3,-B1) | ₦41,802.05 |
| B8 | Total repaid | =B7*B3 | ₦752,436.87 |
| B9 | Total interest | =B8-B1 | ₦152,436.87 |
| B10 | Effective monthly rate after fee | =RATE(B3,-B7,B1-B5) | 2.50% while the fee is 0 |
The minus sign before B1 makes the payment show as a positive number; without it, PMT returns a negative figure because it treats money paid out as negative. Excel's syntax is PMT(rate, nper, pv, [fv], [type]); Google Sheets uses the same order. Leave fv and type blank for an ordinary loan that ends at zero with payments at the end of each month. Microsoft notes PMT covers principal and interest only, not fees, which is why B10 is there.
Start at row 13 with headings: Month, Opening balance, Interest, Principal, Payment, Closing balance.
| Month | Opening | Interest | Principal | Payment | Closing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ₦600,000.00 | ₦15,000.00 | ₦26,802.05 | ₦41,802.05 | ₦573,197.95 |
| 2 | ₦573,197.95 | ₦14,329.95 | ₦27,472.10 | ₦41,802.05 | ₦545,725.85 |
| 3 | ₦545,725.85 | ₦13,643.15 | ₦28,158.90 | ₦41,802.05 | ₦517,566.95 |
Add a check cell: =SUM(C14:C31) should equal B9, total interest. If it does not, a formula has been filled down wrongly. Our guide to reading an amortisation schedule explains what each column means.
Type the fee in B5. B10 then uses RATE to find the monthly rate on the cash you actually received. Microsoft's RATE page notes that it works by iteration and returns #NUM! if it cannot settle on an answer; if that happens, add a guess as the sixth argument, such as 0.03. Multiply by 12 for a nominal annual figure, or use =(1+B10)^12-1 for the effective annual rate, as covered in effective interest rate explained.
Add B12: =(B1+B1*B4*B3)/B3. That is the monthly instalment if the same rate were charged flat on the original amount. In the example it is ₦48,333.33, against ₦41,802.05 on the reducing balance. See flat rate versus reducing balance for why.
Insert a column between Payment and Closing called Extra. Change the closing balance formula to =B14-D14-G14, where G is the extra column, and type any lump sum you plan to pay in the month you plan to pay it. The schedule will reach zero earlier, and the interest column will show what you save. This only reflects reality if your lender charges interest on the reducing balance and accepts part prepayments without a fee; check your agreement before relying on it.
Some loan products in Nigeria are repaid weekly. The calculator works the same way, with weekly units throughout: put the weekly rate in B4 and the number of weeks in B3. Never mix a monthly rate with a weekly count. Both Microsoft and Google make this point in their PMT documentation, and it is the most common reason a home-made calculator gives a nonsense answer.
To check what you owe after k payments without the schedule, use =-FV(B4, k, -B7, B1) in either program, replacing k with the number of payments made.
Loans on Spaces, lent by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Ltd for spending with merchants in Spaces, show the amount, cost and repayment date in full before you accept, so you can enter the actual figures into this sheet first. See Loans on Spaces.
Use =PMT(monthly rate, number of months, -loan amount). Divide a yearly rate by 12 for monthly payments, as Microsoft's PMT guidance says.
Google Sheets has the PMT function with the same argument order as Excel. Add a schedule with interest, principal and balance columns to build a full calculator.
PMT shows money paid out as negative. Put a minus sign before the loan amount, or before PMT, to show a positive repayment.
PMT assumes reducing balance. For a flat loan, use (amount + amount × monthly rate × months) ÷ months.
