Meet Eva, the assistant inside the Pryme app. She holds dollars, pounds, euros and Naira side by side, swaps at a locked rate, pays bills in any of them and sends anywhere, asking before anything moves.

We give you a limit to spend at the shops and services you already use — and an account that works on your month while you get on with it. Dollars, pounds and euros sit beside your Naira, and an assistant handles the running of it, asking you first every single time.
One global account for your money and business. Move across currencies, automate everyday operations and put AI agents to work — with you in control of every important decision.

You are not borrowing. You are selling to somebody who already has the money — and that money can only be spent with a business like yours.

Resolved 4 conversations — two deliveries, one refund. The business has changed shape four times and never changed what it was rooted in. Each version was built out of what the last one could not do.
An online grocery store, built out of a faulty tab. Selling the food was the easy part — taking the money for it, and moving it, turned out to be the business.
A prepaid card. The first time the company issued rather than resold, and the first time it carried the obligations that come with holding somebody else’s money.
Solid Allianze acquired — an existing bank with an existing licence. The perimeter stopped being someone else’s to draw.
More than one currency on one balance, and the rebrand to Pryme. A Nigerian business could hold dollars without holding a second institution.
Accounts that do the work rather than only hold value. Five agents on the account, inside a policy you write — which is where the new mark starts.
Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.
Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.
Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.
Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.
Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.
Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.
Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

A method for setting a cash buffer in each currency your business uses, how an AI finance agent tracks it daily and when conversions need your approval.
A sensible cash buffer in each currency is enough to cover the payments you must make in that currency over a set number of weeks, plus a margin for late receipts. An AI finance agent can calculate each buffer from your actual payment patterns, track it daily and flag shortfalls, but converting between currencies beyond a pre-agreed range should be a person's decision.
A business that earns and spends in more than one currency can look healthy in total and still be short where it matters. If payroll is in naira and most receipts arrive in dollars, a strong dollar balance does not pay salaries until it is converted, and converting in a hurry can mean accepting a poor rate. The same applies to a UK business paying suppliers in euros or a Canadian business with US dollar costs.
The answer is to set a buffer for each currency separately, based on what you must pay in it, and to treat converting between them as a planned decision rather than a reaction. For the basics of tracking balances, see what a daily cash position is.
The buffer is a policy, set by the owner. The agent's job is to calculate the inputs from real data, show where each currency stands against its floor and ceiling every day, and propose what to do when a currency moves outside its range.
Example only. A Lagos agency invoices most clients in US dollars and pounds and pays most costs in naira. Its policy is four weeks of committed payments in each currency, plus a margin.
| Currency | Committed payments, next 4 weeks | Margin | Floor | Current balance | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NGN | ₦38m (payroll, rent, suppliers) | ₦4m | ₦42m | ₦29m | Below floor |
| USD | $3,500 (software, contractors) | $1,000 | $4,500 | $41,000 | Well above |
| GBP | £1,200 (one contractor) | £300 | £1,500 | £6,800 | Above |
The agent flags the naira shortfall eight days before payroll and proposes converting enough dollars to restore the floor, showing the amount needed, the rate available, and how the proposal compares with recent rates from a published reference. Because the amount is above the conversion range the owner pre-authorised, it waits for approval. The owner approves a conversion of part of the dollar surplus and keeps the rest in dollars, a decision about currency risk the agent did not make.
| Action | Suggested handling |
|---|---|
| Recalculate buffers as payments are added | Agent, daily |
| Flag a currency approaching its floor | Agent, with days remaining before the shortfall |
| Small conversions inside a range you set in advance | Agent may act, if you have authorised it |
| Large conversions, or any at a rate outside the range | Person approves |
| Changing the cover period or the policy | Person only |
| Deciding to hold a currency as a view on rates | Person only |
Currency decisions mix cash management with judgement about risk. An agent can make the cash side precise, but it should not take a view on where a currency is going, and you should be wary of any tool that does. Regulatory rules on holding and converting foreign currency vary by country; in Nigeria, for example, the Central Bank sets rules on foreign exchange that businesses should check with their bank or adviser.
Owners who earn in one currency and spend in another face the same arithmetic in their personal finances; budgeting when you earn in dollars and spend in naira covers that side. In a business, the difference is that payroll and supplier dates are fixed, so the buffer has to be in place before the date, not found on the day.
These are worth reviewing quarterly with whoever advises you on finance. The SBA's guidance on managing finances emphasises understanding your cash flow; in a multicurrency business, that means understanding it in each currency.
A Pryme Business account holds NGN, USD, GBP and EUR, each with local account details, on the multicurrency account, and swap moves money between them. The Finance agent holds the position across every currency, reconciled against bank feeds, and conversions above the line you set stop and wait for you with the reason attached.
There is no single rule. A common approach is to hold enough to cover committed payments for a set number of weeks, adjusted for how predictable your receipts are.
It depends on what you need to pay in each currency and your appetite for rate risk. Holding what you need in each currency and converting surplus on a plan avoids rushed decisions.
It can propose conversions based on your buffers and show the rate. Decisions about large amounts or timing based on a view of rates should stay with a person.
A rate published by a central bank or similar body, used for comparison and sometimes for accounting. It is not necessarily a rate you can deal at.
