Questions

The things people ask us first.

What is Pryme?

Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives people and businesses in Nigeria one account that holds Naira alongside dollars, pounds and euros, and a set of agents that do the running of it — keeping the books, chasing what is owed, answering customers and paying bills. Nothing leaves an account without the owner’s approval.

Can I hold dollars, pounds and euros in a Pryme account?

Yes. A Pryme account holds Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros side by side on one ledger, each with its own account details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area. You can swap between them at a rate you set, and every currency has its own statement.

What is Spaces?

Spaces is available in Nigeria. It gives a shopper money to spend that can only be spent with a participating business. The business is paid into its Naira account whether or not the shopper repays, because Pryme carries the credit. For the business it is free to join, there is nothing monthly, and the customer’s identity is never shown — only a reference and what it is worth.

What do the agents on a Pryme Business Account do?

Five agents come with the account. The Chief of Staff runs the week and keeps what is stuck moving. Finance watches the money and keeps the books as you trade. Compliance keeps the filings on time and screens what moves. Sales chases what you are owed. Customer Support answers your customers and follows up. Each has a job description, a budget and a ceiling you set, and each one proposes rather than acts — nothing leaves the account without your signature.

How does Pryme Pay work?

Pryme Pay takes payments on your own site or on a checkout page you control. The buyer is given a one-time account number and transfers to it from any bank app or by USSD — no card, no OTP, nothing to type in. The money lands in the same account your agents are running, already matched to the order and already in your books.

What are Savings Boxes?

Savings Boxes are separate pots inside a Pryme account, held in Naira. Flexible Boxes can be withdrawn at any time, Fixed Boxes hold to a date, Investment Boxes hold for longer, and Interest-free Boxes earn nothing by design. A business can use them to ring-fence payroll and the tax it withholds, so that money cannot be spent by accident.

Who holds my money, and is it protected?

Pryme is a financial technology company, not a bank. Accounts and deposits are provided by Solid Allianze Microfinance Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and is a member of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Can I build on Pryme?

Yes. Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

What is Pryme?

Pryme is a financial technology company. It gives you one account that holds US dollars, pounds sterling and euros beside Naira, with an assistant that runs the account for you and asks before anything moves. Accounts are provided in Nigeria today, and further markets open as each licence lands.

Can I open a Pryme account from outside Nigeria?

Accounts are provided in Nigeria today, subject to verification and approval. Foreign-currency balances are held and converted inside that account, so you can hold, receive and swap dollars, pounds and euros wherever you are.

Which currencies can I hold with Pryme?

Naira, US dollars, pounds sterling and euros, side by side on one ledger. Each has its own details — a Nigerian account number, a US account number, a UK sort code and an IBAN for the euro area — and each has its own statement.

How do I send money to Nigeria with Pryme?

Swap at a rate you set rather than the rate of the day, then send to any Pryme username or to a Nigerian bank account. There is no fee to send to another Pryme account.

What does the assistant do?

Eva is the assistant inside the Pryme app. She opens accounts, moves money, saves toward your goals, pays what is due and follows up what is owed to you — and asks you before anything moves.

What is Pryme Rails?

Pryme Rails lets a platform issue a dedicated Naira account number to each of its own customers, collect into it and reconcile against it, over one API — the same rails the Pryme Business Account runs on.

Campus France Nigeria: fees, steps and the interview

Campus France Nigeria explained: the NGN 80,000 and ₦50,000 fees, the Etudes en France steps, the calendar and how to prepare for the interview.

The short answer

Campus France Nigeria runs two stages: applying to programmes through Etudes en France, with an NGN 80,000 administrative fee paid before an academic interview in Abuja or Lagos, and the post-admission visa stage, with a ₦50,000 non-refundable fee, validation within two weeks and a preliminary visa interview before your TLS appointment. Start the visa stage no more than three months before your programme begins.

Two stages, two fees

Campus France Nigeria runs the Etudes en France procedure for Nigerian students heading to French higher education. Its own pages describe two separate stages, each with its own fee. It helps to keep them apart, because many students pay one and assume they have paid the other.

StageWhat happensFee stated by Campus France Nigeria
1. Applying to programmesYou apply through Etudes en France to schools connected to the platform, then attend an academic interviewNGN 80,000 administrative fee, paid before the interview
2. After admission (visa stage)You open an Etudes en France account for the visa process, get validated, attend a preliminary visa interview, then go to TLS₦50,000 Campus France fee, non-refundable

These figures come from Campus France Nigeria's pages read in October 2026; neither page gives a payment method or an update date, so confirm both amounts with the office before paying. The visa fee itself is separate and is paid at the visa stage.

Stage 1: applying through Etudes en France

Not every French school uses the platform. Campus France Nigeria says some schools use their own application systems, so check each school's site first. Where the school is connected:

  1. Create a free account on the Etudes en France platform.
  2. Choose your programmes: up to seven master's courses in one application, or up to three first-year bachelor's courses.
  3. Upload all your documents; the platform manages the enrolment steps up to the visa request.
  4. Pay the NGN 80,000 administrative fee.
  5. Attend your academic interview at the Abuja or Lagos office.

The calendar

For the 2026 intake, the page set out: applications opening on 1 October 2025, academic interviews from 1 November 2025, a submission deadline of 1 December 2025, a last date for interviews of 1 March 2026, school decisions by 30 April 2026 and the student's final choice by 31 May 2026. Admitted students then contact Campus France Nigeria from May to July to begin the visa procedure, for departure in September or October. Expect a similar pattern for the next cycle, but use the dates the office publishes.

Stage 2: after you are admitted

Campus France Nigeria's admitted-student page lists the visa steps:

  1. Create an Etudes en France account (the page recommends Mozilla Firefox) and select Campus France Nigeria.
  2. Fill in your personal, education and work details and upload your passport, CV, admission letter, transcripts, accommodation certificate and other listed documents.
  3. Wait for validation, which the page says happens within two weeks.
  4. Pay the non-refundable ₦50,000 Campus France fee.
  5. Book and attend a preliminary visa interview, bringing the documents on the checklist.
  6. Only after the interview, book your visa appointment with TLS in Abuja or Lagos.

The page advises starting at most three months before your programme begins. Its own example: for a 2 September start, create the account in June.

What the interview covers

Campus France Nigeria's pages do not publish a question list. Prepare as you would for any academic and visa interview: explain why you chose the programme and school, how it connects to your past studies or work, what you plan to do afterwards, how you will fund your studies and living costs, and where you will live. Know your documents well enough to explain any gap year or change of field. On the money question, French rules require resources of at least €877.5 a month (Service-Public.fr, verified 1 August 2026); our guide to France student visa proof of funds covers how to show it.

A worked example of costs before you fly

Example only: Bola applies to four master's programmes in October and pays the NGN 80,000 administrative fee before her November interview. She is admitted in April, opens her visa account in June, pays the ₦50,000 Campus France fee and attends the preliminary interview in July. Her Campus France costs total ₦130,000 (80,000 + 50,000), before the visa fee, translations and travel to Lagos or Abuja for interviews.

What to check first

  • Whether your chosen school uses Etudes en France or its own platform.
  • The current fee amounts and how to pay, directly with the office.
  • This year's calendar, especially the December submission deadline.
  • Your funds evidence at the €877.5 monthly level.
  • How long translations and attestations will take.

See also Schengen visa proof of funds from Nigeria and visa fees by country.

Where Pryme fits

France asks for a euro-denominated resource level. A Pryme account holds EUR alongside NGN, with Swap showing the rate and fee before you approve, and you can generate a verifiable statement through VerifyDoc.ai for the visa file.

Questions people ask

How much is the Campus France fee in Nigeria?

Campus France Nigeria's pages state an NGN 80,000 administrative fee when applying to programmes, and a ₦50,000 non-refundable Campus France fee at the visa stage after admission. Confirm current amounts with the office.

How long does Campus France validation take in Nigeria?

The admitted-student page says Campus France Nigeria validates your file within two weeks.

Where is Campus France interview in Nigeria?

Academic interviews are held at the Abuja or Lagos office, according to Campus France Nigeria. After the preliminary visa interview you book TLS in Abuja or Lagos.

When should I start Campus France procedure?

For the platform's application cycle, from 1 October with a 1 December deadline (2025/26 calendar). For the visa stage after admission, at most three months before your programme starts.
